Students and the World: Student Government
“A mass meeting of the students was held on
Thursday, October 7, 1909, when the first societies were organized.”
University of Saskatchewan students
wasted no time in establishing a student society: one week to the day
from the date first classes were given, students held their first meeting
and the Student Representative Council was born.
