Social Events: Fancy Dress
Fancy Dress dances and events were a large part of the
social scene on campus until well into the 1960s. Students attending these
events were naturally expected to look the part, and the countless masquerade
balls and ‘theme’ dances provided ample opportunity for students
to dress themselves imaginatively.
