Curator's note | The Rhinoceros Party was a registered political party in Canada from the 1960s to the 1990s. Its main purpose was political and social satire and its main promise was to not keep any of its political promises. Saskatoon businessman and humorist Hugh Arscott was one the best known Rhinoceros candidates in English Canada. He ran in the constituency of Saskatoon East in 1980 and 1984. |
