Curator's note | Some say photographs don't lie. This is an exaggeration card postmarked 1946 promoting fishing at Ponteix in southern Saskatchewan. Exaggeration cards were produced in the USA in the early 20th century as photographers played with darkroom legerdemain to produce joking images of what was the biggest and the best across the country. |
