Scope and contentFile containing correspondence relating to the involvement of Indigenous people in celebrations at the historical site of Batoche, the development of a scholarship fund, a meeting between the Indigenous and Metis leaders with public officials about the Batoche celebration, and correspondence about the development of the historic site. File also includes historical notes about Batoche, including information about the Northwest Resistance, and record of Indigenous and Metis peoples killed in the 'North West Rebellion' (found in a tour guide entitled "Fish Creek - Batoche"). Also a brochure "Batoche National Historic Site," published by the Department of Northern Affairs and Natural Resources: National Historic Sites Division.
