Scope and content | This file contains a Circle of Healing group with Maggie Hodgson, Facilitator. Participants include S.B., D.B., J.J., J.D., C.B. B.B., and F.J. These persons experienced various forms of abuse at the residential schools they attended and they describe their lives today. Some suffer from substance abuse and poor family relationships, but several participants bought their children to the Circle, which they feel contributes to the healing process. Several people in the circle have also turned to drumming, prayer and sweat lodge ceremony to help them. | |
