Scope and content | 3 files. Fred Gilchrist was an early European settler in the Qu'Appelle valley. His wife was involved in missionary work, and he had previously bought wild rice from the Aboriginal people of northern Ontario and sold it. He kept a diary during his time at Qu'Appelle and these are the entries for the years 1888 and 1896. | |
