Scope and contentAn original copy of Harry Daniels' book, We are the New Nation, published by the Native Council of Canada. It outlines the Council's position on various historic Metis rights. The book is made up of nine chapters in three separate sections, The Myth of Two Founding Peoples, "Separate and Unequal" and Towards Co-equality: Integration vs. Assimilation.
