President Carl Simms delivers the presentation on behalf of the group and discusses jurisdictional issues with the town and territorial governments, parallels between issues faced by the group and those faced by Aboriginal people in dealing with unresponsive governments, the group's desire to see things change for Aboriginal people and a new relationship to be formed, taxation issues, the need to settle land claims, a critique of bureaucracy, and generally the need for Aboriginal people to be self-sufficient.
