Scope and content | File contains a presentation by Tom Dockstader, N'Amerind Friendship Centre. Dockstader discusses N'Amerind's history as one of the oldest Friendship Centres in Canada. Dockstader discusses the mandate and goals of the Centre. Dockstader delivers comments on four areas of interest to the Commission: healing, self-determination, self-government, and relationships between natives and non-natives. Following the presentation the assembled Commissioners discuss some of the issues raised with Dockstader, after which the Commission conclude's its' sitting for the day. | |
