Scope and content | File contains a presentation by DP. DP describes how she and her sister wer sent from Inukjuak, Quebec to Churchill for tuberculosis treatment in a government hospital. DP describes how her parents were part of the High Arctic Relocation, and despite her protestations the government shipped her back to Inukjuak while her parents were settled in the High Arctic. Eventually she made her way to the High Arctic and was reunited with her family who did not even recognize her upon arrival due to the amount of time which had passed. | |
