Scope and content | File contains a photocopy of Philip Drucker's article, "The Native Brotherhood of British Columbia." It is a 1970s reprint of the original article found in: The Native Brotherhoods: Modern Intertribal Organizations on the Northwest Coast, by Philip Drucker, 1958, Bureau of American Ethnology, no. 168, pp.78-103. He describes the evolution of policy on Indians rights in BC and how it developed in relation to the Indian organizations.
