Scope and content | File contains a series of six volumes on Saskatchewan history in a magazine style format, meant to celebrate the provinces 60th anniversary. On the back cover of each issue is a colour portrait of a notable Aboriginal Chief, accompanied by a historical anecdote about that chief. The portraits are reprints of paintings done by Edmund M. Morris between 1908 and 1911. There are also articles on Batoche and events related to the 1885 resistance. | |
