Scope and contentFile contains a photocopy of Peter Freuchen's article "The Problem of the Aged in Eskimo Society," from The North American Indians; a sourcebook, edited, and with introd., by Roger C. Owen, James J. F. Deetz [and] Anthony D. Fisher Published New York, Macmillan [1967]. The article was first written in 1931. It is a short story about a man named Mala. There is a second article from the same book by Gordon H. Marsh called "Eskimo-Aluet Religion," first written in 1954. It claims to be "a study of the basic beliefs and their systemization."
