Scope and contentFile contains records from three separate Aboriginal organizations regarding the upcoming constitution talks. The first two reports are by the British Columbia Native Women's Society: (1) Mission statement, organization and recommendations of clauses to be included in the constitution act, and (2) A report titled: "Proposal for recommended legislative enactment with respect to rights for native Indian children and protection of native Indian children by independent Indian bands." Also in the file is a report titled "Brief to the Special committee of the House of Commons on Indian Self-Government," March, 1983 by the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians. A copy of the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians-Constitution. A copy of First Nations Confederacy Inc.-Constitution.
