Scope and contentAn 18 page brief to the special committee on the process for amending the constitution of Canada drawn up by the Metis Society of Saskatchewan, 26 March 1991. In it they argue for the recognition of their right to be a distinct society like Quebec, and their inherent right to self-government. They feel they are in danger of being ignored, as the definition of Aboriginal people did not include Metis.
