Scope and content | The Metis National Council's response to the 27 separate federal proposals. They support some of these completely, while others they support but with certain suggested changes. They still do not feel they are being given a fair voice in the constitutional process. Also in this file is a copy of the MNC's presentation to the parliamentary committee, January 22, 1992. They advocate for Metis self-government, participation in constitutional discussions, and the inclusion of the Metis as a federal responsibility. | |
