Scope and content | File contains a presentation by MA. MA discusses how her family lost many of their possessions during the relocation process, and were ill equipped to deal with their new environment suffering severe hardship as a result. In repsonse to questioning from the facilitator MA goes on to discuss the relations between relocatees from Inukjuak, Quebec, and Pond Inlet, NWT. MA states that the two communities could not understand each other due to differences of dialect. SE goes on to state that there was little intermarriage between the two communities, and difficulties understanding each other. | |
