Closing remarks are delivered by Commissioners Georges Erasmus, Mary Sillett, Paul Chartrand, Bertha Wilson, Rene Dussault, and facilitator Mary Simon. Erasmus highlights the uniqueness of the experience of the High Arctic Relocatees in relation to the other stories the Commission has heard in their travels. The other Commissioners make similar remarks and all thank the witnesses and participants for coming forward. Following the remarks is a closing prayer to adjourn the proceedings. | |
