Scope and contentThis file contains an individual presentation by Raynald Vachon on employment and salary inequities between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal workers. Vachon recommends that an organization be established that could be called "the Association of Aboriginal Workers in Quebec." The association could bring together all the Aboriginal communities in Quebec. It could work with band councils to prepare collective agreements for workers and subsequently meet with the Department of Indian Affairs so that they can take into consideration the collective agreements involving Aboriginal workers before they prepare the budget for a band council's financial year. A question-and-answer session with the Commissioners follows the presentation.
