Scope and contentFile contains a variety of publications produced by Parks Canada from the 1970s and 1980s. Includes a two volume history of Canada's National Parks by W.F. Lothian (1975-1976), a pamphlet on Grey Owl from Prince Albert National Park (1984), "Heritage Log: The Prairies and the North" a stampable passport type pamphlet of national parks and historic sites from Western and Northern Canada put out to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Canada's park system and including several sites of direct Aboriginal interest (1985), a pamphlet on Riel House National Historic Site (1980) which includes biographical information on Riel's immediate family as well as the house, and a booklet entitled Batoche National Historic Site (1985) including information on the battle and Metis settlement at Batoche, as well as a detailed map of each day of the fighting there.
