Scope and contentThis file contains a presentation by Michael L. Rice that first provides a history of the Kahnawake business community and the Caisse Populaire Kahnawake. His organization was involved in the "establishment and implementation of the trust deed arrangement - loan security system." This system allows Aboriginals to use their land and their buildings as security on loans for commercial and housing purposes. A lengthy question-and-answer session with the Commissioners follows the presentation.
