Scope and contentAn alphabetical list of prisoners sentenced to death in Canada from Confederation until the death penalty was abolished in 1976. Intended as a reference tool for researchers. Includes many Aboriginal people. Each case contains background information on the nature of the offence committed as well as the method and place of execution.
