Scope and contentFile contains materials related to the North West Mounted Police in Prince Albert during the late nineteenth century. Included is an account entitled "The Advent of the Mounted Police to Prince Albert: By Ex-Staff Sergeant Keenan and Ex-Constable Harry Ross," a copy of a hand-written letter from 1885 regarding the seizure of a citizen's saddle by the Police and a request that it be returned, and an article entitled "Historical notes" from the Prince Albert Daily Herald (July 1973) dealing with the Almighty Voice incident as realted by Chief Dan Kennedy of the Carry the Kettle First Nation.
