Scope and contentFrom introduction: "As increasing numbers of white people moved into the North the impact of change began was felt on the lives of Indian, Eskom and Metis peoples. The historian might refer to the "trading post" as northern peoples' introduction to a cash economy, which gave rise to wage employment. Mrs. Unka's recollections are centered on the turn of the 20th century." Included is a map of the Fort Norman-Fort Resolution area.
