Scope and contentFrom introduction: "The impact that disease has had on the Indian and Eskimo peoples of Canada sometimes passes through the pages of history with but little notice. In 1928 an epidemic occurred in the Fort Fitzgerald area northern Alberta. The recollections of Mrs. Helene Unka of the Fort Resolution will indicate to the reader the severity of the conditions at that time." Includes map of the Great Slave Lake-Fort Fitzgerald area.
