Scope and content"In collaboration with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation a series of talks by Indigenous Peoples of Canada was arranged by the Indian Affairs Branch of the Department of Mines and Resources which were broadcasted on a nation-wide level. The purpose of these talks was to give a the public some knowledge of the mode of life, past and present, manners, and habits of the various tribes of [Indigenous People] Indians [sic]" (from Foreword). The booklet is divided into 8 sections: The Micmac, by J.J. Stark; The Indians of Quebec, Rev. M.K. Jacobs,S.J.; The Iroquois, by G.C.
