Scope and contentThe one-page article announces the creation of the Department of Northern Saskatchewan, representing a new approach to meeting the needs of the north. This was the first issue of its publication Denosa, initially intended as a staff newsletter with one more appearing that year; in 1975 it was restarted as a magazine for the public and distributed to every household in the north. The article includes one photograph.
