Scope and contentFile contains a special consultation sitting of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples at Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, on Monday, December 7, 1992. File contains two Women's round table sessions, the first on education, training and employment, health, housing, and economic development. The second (beginning on page 102) is on issues of governance, justice, and family violence. Moderator Linda Todd facilitates the discussion during the first round table, while moderator Ethyl facilitates the second. The majority of participants are Aboriginal women affiliated with various community organizations. Commissioners Georges Erasmus and Bertha Wilson are also in attendance.
