Scope and content | File contains a report of the proceedings of a conference of the Metis of Saskatchewan, hosted by Premier T. C. Douglas on 30 July 1946. They discuss issues facing the Metis after WW II and organizational difficulties. The minister of Social Welfare was present, as were two people from his department. The goal of the CCF was to address the needs of the Metis who were deemed "underpriviledged" by Premier Douglas. | |
