Scope and content | A photograph taken on August 8, 1933 at the Saskatoon Exhibition of a gathering of pioneers from the 1883-1889 era. Lieutenant Governor Hugh Edwin Munroe is making an address. An Aboriginal woman is seated at the centre, while a group of seven Aboriginal Chiefs in head-dresses stands at the right. There is a full orchestra behind the group and they are all on an elaborately decorated stage. | |
