Scope and contentFile contains a presentation by J.J., a member of the national Aboriginal network on disabilities, a board member of DAWN Canada (Disabled Women's Network), and a chairperson and co-founder of Women on Wings in the Whitehorse area for women with disabilities. J. discusses her personal struggles as a person with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, post polio syndrome, and arthritis. Johnny discusses her views on acessibility issues that her organizations deal with, discrimination issues, and being caught between two jurisdictions neither of which will take responsibility, rape and abuse, and other issues facing disabled Aboriginal peoples. Following her presentation she discusses some of these issues with the assembled Commissioners.
