Scope and contentFile contains a 3 page essay titled "Yellow Calf," written by Aboriginal student Ona Fiddler. It is a brief but insightful perspective on the actions of Chief Yellow Calf to keep peace on his reserve. Facing starvation, some men had stole rations, but a confrontation with police was abated by Yellow Calf. Their peaceful protest helped change government ration policy.
