Scope and contentThis book relates the story of the Presbyterian Mission of Round Lake in the Qu'Appelle Valley. The Mission was founded by Rev. Hugh McKay in 1884. It also relates the story of Camp McKay, a bible camp which continued on the site after the mission closed. Includes some discussion of the Round Lake Residential School which closed in 1950, and the establishment of the Presbyterian Church on the Kewistahaw Reserve. Note: The Rev. McKay was from Ontario originally and not a member of the famous Metis family.
