Scope and contentFile contains a booklet entitled "Compact Facts, Canada, 1921" published by the Department of the Interior, Natural Resources Intelligence Branch. Also included are several letters pertaining to the ownership of crown lands, and specifically one 1924 letter regarding the opinion of E. Lafleur on the ownership of western lands and government compensation of Indigenous tribes and another letter from December 1924 regarding the opinion of Bram Thomson on how the intolerance of the army towards the Red River Metis caused the Red River Rebellion.
