The October 1944 issue includes an article entitled "The Saulteaux Hunting Squad" (pgs. 10-11) about Saulteaux hunting deer in Lake Winnipeg. The February 1945 issue contains an article entitled "Pelican's Plight" (pgs. 13-15) which reflects on Saulteaux use of the Pelican for medicinal oil.
