Scope and contentThe file contains a presentation on behalf of Inter-tribal Forestry Association by Harold Derickson. Derickson discusses Aboriginal participation in the forestry sector, barriers to participation, co-management practices, problems with Department of Indian Affairs forestry policy, job training issues, and business development issues. Derickson makes a variety of recommendations with regard to forestry. Following the presentation Commissioner Mary Sillett discusses most of the issues raised with Derickson.
