Scope and content | This file contains a presentation by Herman Saulis focusing on the injustices suffered by Canadian Aboriginal veterans upon returning home after the end of World War II. These veterans have not reached equalization regarding wartime contributions of benefits throughout the years. Saulis calls on the Commission to play an advocacy role on behalf of Aboriginal veterans to secure funding to create a non-profit Aboriginal veterans' association in New Brunswick. A brief question-and-answer session with the Commissioners. | |
