Scope and content | Moving Beyond the Pain and Fear is a book relating the experiences of various Residential School survivors in their own words. The first section of the book contains personalized accounts. One is in interview format, while the remainder are personal statements. Relates tales of isolation and suffering at Residential Schools in Saskatchewan, primarily at Prince Albert, Sturgeon Landing, and Duck Lake. The second section is a photograph collection highlighting the schools discussed in the first section. The third section is a special report on Residential Schools first printed in the Regina Leader Post and Saskatoon Star Phoenix. | |
