Scope and contentA historical paper on the Red River Settlement and the first Riel Resistance there (booklet 1) and on the second Riel Resistance in Saskatchewan (booklet 4). It was written by an Ontario Orangeman by the name of George H. Young in 1913 for presentation to the Grace Methodist Church in Brampton, Ontario. Young was the son of the Rev. George Young, a Protestant Minister in Red River during the events of 1869-1870. Also contains an account of the Fenian Raid against Manitoba in 1871.
