Scope and contentSome biographical data on Father Leon-Adelard Fafard and the Fort Pitt Roman Catholic Mission. Fafard is generally known as one of the victims killed at Frog Lake in 1885. The short biography includes information about the establishment of the mission at Fort Pitt, relations with the local Cree and Metis people, and plans to develop a Catholic school in the area which was never enacted.
