Scope and content | The file contains a presentation by Hari Dimitrakopoulon, Northern Women's Development Network. Dimitrakopoulon discusses a report submitted to the Commission on women's economic development. Dimitrakopoulon highlights some of the content of the report which deals specifically with the socio-economic position of Aboriginal women in Northern Manitoba, and some of the reasons behind that position going back to pre-European contact days. Following the presentation Commissioners Chartrand and Wilson discuss some of the reports findings with Dimitrakopoulin. | |
