Scope and contentThis file contains materials relating to treaty signing and treaty rights in Saskatchewan. Included are multiple typed copies of Treaty 6; and a leaflet with a facsimile of parts of the original Treaty 6 and the history of the treaty; and numerous newspaper articles relating to Treaty 6; and a series of newspaper articles written in 1994 by Cliff Wright, Treaty Commissioner, relating to Treaty 6 and land claims. Also included are two photocopies of the 1961 book The Treaties Between Her Majesty, Queen victoria and The Indians of British North America. This document focuses on Treaties 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
