Scope and content | A series of three images relating to the medal awarded to Gabriel Dumont by French sympathizers that is on display at the Prince Albert Historical Society Museum. The first image is a close-up of the medal, with the inscription "1886 / Lac Des Canards. / Coulee Des Poissons. / Batoche." written on the ribbon and "Patria & Justicia" inscribed on the medal. The second image shows Gabriel Dumont wearing the medal in a posed portrait before Dumont's death in 1906. The third image is the informational sign. | |
