Scope and content | A photograph of an Aboriginal man in ceremonial regalia (buckskin suit with applied beadwork and feather headdress trailing to ground). Identified as Chief Swimmer (Yahyahnum), Chief of Sweetgrass band approx. 1925 - 1955. He was last traditional Chief of that reserve. After him, chiefs were elected. | |
