Scope and content | Chapter XI from "The Story of Saskatchewan and its People." The chapter is entitled "Sergeant-Major Spicer on the Indian". The introductory paragraph is followed by a section entitled: "The Story of a Great Battle as Told by Little Bear". Hawkes herein publishes Spicer's introduction to the story, a story which Spicer recorded and translated into English during his time with the Blackfeet. Various illustrations included. | |
