Scope and content: This file contains letters to/from R.B. Bennett, Leader of the Opposition, from/to Bram Thompson, Regina lawyer, concerning ownership of western lands. Also contains the booklet "Compact Facts Canada 1921", which includes facts about Canadian trade, agriculture and forestry. Also includes a copy of Thompson's commentary of the opinion of E. Lafleur regarding ownership of western lands. Also includes letters from Thompson to H.H. Stevens, Vancouver MP, concerning ownership of western lands, and two copies of Thompson's booklet, "Canada's National Status: Canada's Constitution – A Hotchpotch". Also included is a copy of the report "Notes of the Economic Resources of a Portion of Northern Saskatchewan", detailing mining, fish and fur, and tourism possibilities in northern Saskatchewan.
