Scope and Content: A slab of copper on display outside the Yukon Historical Society museum at Whitehorse, Y.T. Sign reads: "This Yukon Record Slab of Native Copper - weight 2590 lbs. from the wilderness of the White River was erected by the Yukon Historical Society in May, 1958. Contract, Metro Kaduk. It is respectfully dedicated to the Pioneer Prospectors of the White River Country Frank R. Miles, Harry Townsend, Frank Slaggard, Clem Eminger, Bill Blair, and others who staked copper claims on the White River from 1900-1958. The Copper Nugget is the largest discovered in Yukon, possibly the Canadian Record."
