Curator's note | The University of Saskatchewan established a summer art school at Murray Point, Emma Lake, in 1935. Well-known Canadian and international artists associated with the school (1936 - 1973) and the Emma Lake Artists' Workshops (1955 - ) have enabled the site to achieve national and international renown. |
