Jack Wesson was born in England in 1887 and came to Canada in 1907, settling near Maidstone, SK. He was first elected a director of the SGGA in 1918. He served as Vice-President of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and first President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture. In 1937, Mr. Wesson succeeded Louis Brouillette as Pool President and served as such until 1960. Mr. Wesson was named a commander of the British Empire in 1946; he died in 1965.
